The stripe version was a cotton double gauze. Elwen wears the Tee in Frontier Forest and the dress version in Calamity Blue. There is a lengthen line on the pattern if you would like to extend it into a dress. We extended ours by 40cm, meaning we needed 80cm more fabric.
