Artist Statement: What would romance have looked like in the Paleolithic Era? This double finger ring elaborates on that visualization by featuring an ammonite fossil atop a layered faux bone and epoxy shank; an engagement ring for the ages.

Artist Bio: Amy is currently a Masters student in the Jewelry Metal Arts school at the Academy of Art University. I created pieces as part of my journey towards self-discovery. My work has been influenced by themes such as bondage, nostalgia, and mental health awareness. I seek to bring versatility and detail in my pieces and find precision work to serve as an aesthetic as well as a meditative outlet.
