Bespoken Spirits Dark Rum

Bespoken Spirits Dark Rum comes from the Silicon Valley company that reinvented barrel aging, using a precision maturation process that controls heat, pressure, and wood exposure to achieve in days the flavor development that traditionally takes years. The base is a rum distilled in the U.S. Virgin Islands, then matured with Bespoken's technology and bottled at 40% ABV.

It pours brassy gold with abundant aromatics of banana leaf, vanilla custard, and cotton candy. The palate is supple with candied tropical fruit, toasted barley, kettle corn, burnt sugar, and dulce de lechosa (candied papaya), and the finish leaves a lengthy impression of confectioners' sugar backed by an abrupt rush of nutmeg and baking spices. Sip it neat or use it in a Dark 'n' Stormy or a Mai Tai. This 750 ml bottle is a fascinating pour for rum fans and tech-curious drinkers alike.
